Tullynalley Castle & Gardens
Tullynalley Castle and Gardens are located just about 4km from Whitaker Lodge on the R394.
These magnificent gardens are the romantic setting for one of Ireland’s largest inhabited castles. Owned by The Pakenhams (Earls of Longford).
There you can visit the beautiful walled gardens and meet a family of llamas. There is also a Tree Trail and a discovery trail for children.
There are also extensive woodland gardens and two ornamental lakes.
You can also dine in Tullynalley Castle tea room every summer from 1st April to 1st October.
It’s open every Thursday – Sundays and bank holiday weekends 11am – 5pm and serves a range of delicious home cooked cakes and meals.
